Youth Conferences
Youth conferences in the Christian Community offer teenagers and young adults a rare, but essential opportunity to come together around the big questions of life, and to do something about them.
Our mission is to discover and serve our world,
engage and transform it;
to search for truth and live it;
to discover beauty and reveal it;
to ignite the fire for the good and do it!
Congregational and regional youth groups meet at regular intervals, offering further opportunities for young people to come together.

Midwest Youth Camp
For older campers (high schoolers entering 9th-12th grade), much adventure awaits! This year we return to the Namekagon River for another canoe trip, July 17th – 23rd, 2018.
Youth campers will bravely traverse the river, canoeing by day, camping by night, and singing at all times. We swim along with the canoes through cool and clean water while singing and laughing loudly. We find rustic campsites after a long day in the remote woods. We cook our meals together and wash up in the river, and we snack on the go by pulling off in groups of canoes, clinging together and tossing granola bars and jerky between boats. To keep the mood light, in past years we’ve played “Steal the Bacon” with donated fennel bulbs and induced tears of laughter with our improv scenes. Each night we gather around the fire and hear each other’s stories, stare with gaping jaws at the stars above, and rest beside the water to prepare for the next day’s journey.
COST: $750*
*The $750 contribution will cover the costs of food, equipment, and staff. Please include payment with the registration. No one should stay away for financial reasons.
