The first of a two-part series. Dying is the one thing we can count on happening. It takes courage to face the ending of one’s earthly life. Befriending death means that there are many things that can be done well ahead, in order to make the inevitable an easier transition for oneself and one’s nearest and dearest.

In this first part of workshop, we will discuss “getting your affairs in order”: wills, power of attorney for health care, organ donation, end of life care, hospice and choosing religious services. Five Wishes forms will be provided, along with a checklist of Christian Community services around death.
