Color: The Deeds and Sufferings of the Light

October 26, 2015 @ 8:00 am - October 30, 2015 @ 12:15 pm

- $100

October 26  – October 30 | $100.00

With Rev. Daniel Hafner

The course will be devoted to the observation of physical phenomena. We shall watch how the warm and cool color groups arise through polarity and enhancement, and how they converge. A phenomenological approach, seeing color purely as color, lets the whole of the colors appear as a coherent organism.

Topics include:

  • How color arises out of the colorless: atmospheric color genesis. The one Source Phenomenon that appears in ever varying forms. How the prismatic colors arise out of the Source Phenomenon. The dewdrop and the rainbow. Please bring a prism, if you have one.
  • The day spectrum and the night spectrum
  • The color circle
  • The breathing of the eye: after-images and complementary colors Colored shadows
