A week-long open course at The Seminary in Spring Valley, NY.
We are constantly driven away from who we want to become. Every year, what was once a matter of course in our everyday becomes more and more complicated and messy. Relationships, work and the management of our own needs and yearnings become ever greater challenges. Why is that? What is it that keeps us from staying true to what we know is good for us, individually, and in our communities? In this course, we will explore the hidden forces that want to impede the growth of love and freedom on Earth and we will lay the foundation for a healing of our souls by exploring the spiritual hygienic (i.e., health-bestowing) principles inherent in the being that is alternatively named Anthroposophia or The Healing Spirit. Methods will be experiential and theoretical, using body, soul and the thinking mind as means of understanding. Some prior knowledge of basic anthroposophy is helpful but not mandatory.
The course will be taught by Sebastian Lorenz, MD, MPA, LLM, Germany.
