Spirit of Earth and Sky Summer Day Camp

The Christian Community of DC/Baltimore is delighted to announce its first ever summer day camp for school aged children! Rev’s Carol Kelly and Patrick Kennedy will lead the camp at its beautiful 2-acre property in College Park, MD.

Summertime is an opportunity to connect with the living earth and cultivate reverence for all life. We will work in the garden, play in the woods and tell stories during our morning gathering. Rev. Kelly, a trained Verbeck singing teacher and summer camp song-leader for over 25 years, will lead us into the joy of sound and song. Painting and drawing and creative nature crafts will round out our artistic activities, expanding the soul into the warmth of summer. Michael Judge will lead the campers in playing capture the flag, ping pong, badminton, croquet and much more, building experiences of joy and providing new challenges that can help us learn what real and healthy community life is all about.

Cost: $250 (includes non-refundable registration fee of $25).
