About the Talk:

When a baby first discovers that he or she has two hands and that they can meet, or when the young toddler takes up the most common object, bottle, bracelet or key and we behold how the little one responds to that object, with total devotion;
that is “religious”. We can have devotional feelings in many connections, from flowers in a meadow to flashes of lightning, to the stars.

We behold in the young child the new awakening to that which for us has long since become “common”. We
can learn to see the world through their eyes and to support that, rather than trying to pull them into our world. The child can give us the highest possible revelation of what the world really is.
